Apprentices will:

Get research experience with a graduate student mentor.

Gain skills and experience with independent linguistic research.

Become more competitive candidates for admission to graduate school.

Earn 1-3 units (P/NP) toward graduation (Linguistics 197).
Eligibility:

You must complete Linguistics 100 with a minimum 'B' grade.

You can apply while Spring or Fall Ling 100 is "In-Progress". (Your final grade will be verified before a match is made)

LRAP is open to all majors and all class standing (Freshman, Sophomore, Junior and Senior).
LRAP matches Linguistics graduate mentors with undergraduate research apprentices.
