New course on "Linguistics for Graduate Students in the Humanities"

January 23, 2019
Our English department colleague Kristin Hanson is this semester inaugurating a new course, English 201A: Linguistics for Graduate Students in the Humanities, in which various linguistics department members will be participating. As she writes in the course description, "The purpose of this course is to help students in the humanities who wish to incorporate claims about language in their work to do so in ways that take into account claims about language made by those who take it as their primary object of research."
